BCS Moved Its First Load—Literally

Last week, something happened for the first time in Broker-Carrier Summit history. We officially moved a load. At the Orlando event, we had eight sponsored workstations set up so attendees could drop their gear and stay productive throughout the summit. What we didn’t anticipate was needing to ship all that equipment back afterward. That’s where our friend Steve Vest (@ntwdequiptrans) stepped in. He helped coordinate a broker and carrier, both of whom we met at BCS, to handle the shipment. So yes, BCS literally moved its first load over the road with a broker and carrier that connected through the summit. It is a perfect example of what this community is all about, turning real relationships into real business.
